CONSENT TO PUBLISH WITH PATAKOSMOS PRESS
This document represents an agreement between the Author and Patakosmos Press, and between the Author and the website Patakosmos.com.
- AUTHOR AND PUBLISHER
The Author waives all rights under traditional copyright law and grants Patakosmos Press permission to publish the work under a Creative Commons (CC) license. The following copyright notice will be printed in the Contribution:
(CC) Creative Commons. [AUTHOR’S NAME] Published by Patakosmos Press, [YEAR].
The Author hereby grants and assigns to Patakosmos Press the transferable right to reproduce, publish, distribute, transmit, make available, or otherwise communicate the work to the public. This includes the right to publicly perform, archive, and disseminate the Contribution individually or together with other works, in any language, and in all versions and revisions (including softcover, book club, collected editions, anthologies, advance printings, reprints, or print-on-demand, microfilm editions, audiograms, and videograms), and in all forms and media of expression.
This includes electronic formats (offline and online), push or pull technologies, databases and networks for display, print, and storage on any and all stationary or portable end-user devices (e.g., text readers, audio, video, or interactive devices), as well as for use in multimedia or interactive editions, and for the display or transmission of the work or parts thereof in data networks or search engines.
- WARRANTIES
The Author retains, within the modalities permitted by the Creative Commons (CC) license, the right to:
- Communicate the content of the Contribution to other researchers
- Share the Contribution in manuscript form
- Present or perform the work publicly
- Use the content for non-commercial internal and educational purposes
- Republish the Contribution in any collection consisting solely of the Author’s own works
- Self-archive an author-created version on their personal website and/or in their institutional repository, including the final published version
- DELIVERY OF THE CONTRIBUTION AND PUBLICATION
The Author agrees to deliver their work (in PDF, DOC, or RTF format) via the submission form available on the Patakosmos Press website, including the required submission date field.
Patakosmos Press agrees to publish the Contribution at its own expense.
- ACCEPTANCE OF THE AGREEMENT
By submitting the work, the Corresponding Author confirms that they have read and accepted all the terms of this agreement. Submission constitutes formal acceptance of this publishing consent.
